Do I get a certificate?
Yes. On completing eligible courses and project submissions, you can apply for KiwisIoT certification (Student / Trainer / Institution) from our Certificates page.
Are courses free?
All 4 courses and 4 projects are completely free. You can use the free tier of the KiwisIoT platform to build and monitor your projects. Certification may have a nominal fee.
What hardware do I need?
Each course lists the components required (e.g. Node MCU, sensors, buzzer, LED, breadboard, jumpers, USB cable). Most projects use Node MCU (ESP8266) and common sensors available online or in lab kits.
Is this suitable for beginners?
Yes! Courses cover theory and platform skills with no hardware required to start. Projects range from Beginner (Door Security, Fire Detection) to Advanced (Patient Health Monitoring).
How long do I have access?
Course content and the KiwisIoT dashboard are available as long as you have an account. You can revisit lessons and dashboards anytime. Certificates are issued once and remain verifiable permanently.
